About Patricia:
Patiricia Stallworth, MBA, CFP®, CDFA is the president/CEO of PS Worth, a financial education and consulting firm. She is a 16+ year veteran in the financial planning industry and she is the author of several books and programs, including Minding Your Money and the Minding Your Money Seminar Series. In addition to her work at PS Worth, Patricia is the "Wealthy Smarts" columnist for the Atlanta Tribune and a Women & Money Blogger for BlackEntertprise.com.
Patricia understands the importance of minding your money. She started her financial career after her long-term marriage ended in divorce and she was left with little money and even fewer money skills. To get up to speed and make a living she went to work for a financial planning and insurance company, earned her CFP, and embarked on a mission to empower others to take charge and take control of their money using her "teach them to fish philosophy."
She is a frequent speaker at organizational and corporate events, and she is noted not only for her content rich programs but her ability to relate complex concepts in everyday terms so they are easy to understand and apply.
Prior to PS Worth, Patricia worked in a consulting or advisory capacity with several firms including American Express Financial Advisors, AXA Financial, The Small Business Development Center, and Deloitte & Touche. and she is also a past instructor in the CFP and CDFA programs at Oglethorpe University.
